Pension Pathway Ireland was founded in 2019 after our founder spent two years helping his mother correct errors in her PRSI record that would have cost her €4,200 annually.
The Problem We're Solving
Ireland's pension system is fundamentally sound, but it relies on accurate record-keeping spanning decades. When those records have gaps or errors, people lose out on benefits they've legitimately earned.
The Department of Social Protection does excellent work, but they can only process what's in their system. If employment periods aren't recorded, or if contributions were misallocated, it's up to the individual to identify and correct these issues.
That's where most people struggle. They don't know how to request their records, what to look for, or how to document missing periods from jobs they held twenty or thirty years ago.
Our Approach
We combine technical knowledge of the PRSI system with practical experience in documentation and verification. Our team includes former Department staff who understand the internal processes and requirements.
Every case is different. Some people have straightforward records that just need verification. Others have complex histories involving multiple countries, self-employment periods, or time in sectors with different contribution rules.

Our team of seven includes pension specialists, former civil servants, and administrative coordinators. Between us, we've processed over 2,400 pension record reviews and assisted with more than 1,800 successful pension applications.
We stay current with policy changes, court decisions, and procedural updates. The pension system evolves, and we make it our business to understand those changes before they affect our clients.
